AJBE publishes original research articles, systematic reviews, empirical studies, policy analyses, and case studies. Focus areas include macroeconomics and economic development in Africa, entrepreneurship and innovation ecosystems, financial markets and banking in Africa, trade economics and AfCFTA implementation, corporate governance and management, agricultural economics, digital economy and fintech in Africa, foreign direct investment and capital flows, labour markets and employment in Africa, microfinance and financial inclusion, and public finance and fiscal policy. All articles receive DOI registration and are indexed in Google Scholar, DOAJ, CrossRef, EconLit, and Scopus.
