Aims & Scope

AJLP publishes original legal scholarship, comparative law studies, policy analyses, case commentaries, and doctrinal research. Focus areas include constitutional and administrative law in Africa, international humanitarian law and human rights, African regional integration and trade law, criminal law and justice reform, environmental law and natural resource governance, land law and property rights, gender and law in Africa, digital law and cybersecurity regulation, refugee and migration law, and transitional justice. The journal adheres to COPE ethical guidelines and operates rigorous double-blind peer review. Indexed in Google Scholar, DOAJ, CrossRef, HeinOnline Africa, and Scopus.
